(KRON) -- Yelp recently released its "Best New Restaurants of 2026" list. The online platform ranked a list of 25 "best new" restaurants across the U.S.
Two of those establishments are here in the Bay Area: Eylan in Menlo Park (No. 4) and Ah Ma's Kitchen in San Francisco (No. 16).
Located in the affluent Peninsula suburb, Eylan serves "Cal-Indian cuisine" and is backed by James Beard finalists Chef Srijith Gopinathan and restaurateur Ayesha Thapar. It is located at 500 El Camino Real, across the street from Safeway.
Ah Ma's Kitchen is described as an Asian fusion restaurant that serves Cantonese flavors and a taste of Hong Kong, according to its website. It is located in San Francisco's Richmond District at 1115 Clement St.

"We identified full-service businesses in the restaurant category, which opened after January 1, 2025, then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews, between January 1, 2025, and June 11, 2026," Yelp wrote in part of its explanation on how it compiled the ranking. "We consulted with Yelp Trend Expert Tara Lewis to zero in on what spots Yelpers were loving."
