(KRON) -- A locally run coffee shop is moving into a former Starbucks Coffee space in San Francisco's NoPa neighborhood.
Barista is expected to open this fall, either at the end of October or early November, the cafe said. It is located at 1799 Fulton St.
Barista takes over the space that was previously occupied by a Starbucks, which shuttered permanently at the end of 2024.

The coffee shop is located about two blocks away from the University of San Francisco's campus. The area has undergone some changes recently.
The Lucky grocery store across the street permanently closed on Sept. 11.
Barista's first location is in San Francisco's Presidio Heights neighborhood at 3313
Sacramento St., which opened about three years ago, according to city records.
After the NoPa cafe opens, Barista said it plans to search for a space for its third location.
Amid Barista's upcoming opening, last week, Starbucks said it would be closing 250 stores across North America. The coffee giant expects 1,500 stores will be retrofitted by Sept. 30, which is the end of Starbucks’ fiscal year.
At least 13 of those shuttering locations are in the Bay Area.
